How To Prevent Plastic Pollution

Did you know that thousands of marine animals are killed each year?

Including whales, turtles, and dolphins. They ingest or get entangled in plastic (e.g., straws, bottles, and bag). Plastics are adversely affecting the environment and harm wildlife, sea animals’ habitat, and even a human.

Billions of kilograms of plastic every year end up in the world's oceans.
These plastics products, such as plastic straws, disposal plates, cling wrap for sealing food items and other utensils, are single-use, yet they may persist in the environment for hundreds of years.

How could we prevent plastic pollution?

The best solution to prevent plastic pollution, this could be accomplished with improved waste management systems and recycling, better product design that takes into account the short life of disposable packaging, and reduction in the manufacturing of unnecessary single-use plastics.

The other solution is to encourage, educate, and inspire people to switch to plastic product alternatives such as biodegradable grass drinking straws and palm leaf plates. Help people to reduce their environmental footprints and move towards zero waste.
